I don’t normally ‘do life updates’ and wouldn’t as so much call this one either (despite the tag!), but I really want to make this post, so take it as you will. The reason why I wouldn’t exactly call this a life update is because I strongly think everyone’s life is somewhat private and they always retain that right for it to remain so. I always think that bloggers, vloggers and celebrities don’t owe anything to us. That’s not to say they shouldn’t owe it to us for their fame and success – but let’s get real, they really don’t owe their lives to us. As that means feeling sorry rather than being thankful, in which case, you should owe it to yourself. Be thankful.  If you spend your whole life owing it to someone else, particularly if you’re famous and successful so to speak, then…when is it ever going to stop? Probably never. Learn to owe it to yourself: be thankful for the life that you have created for yourself. And if not, it’s okay – work …

Today I thought I’d do a different post as it’s truly been a while since I sat down and chatted to you all about…well, me. I’ve been posting a lot about beauty and skincare lately and whilst that’s very close to my heart, I want to start chatting about the more important things in life such as self-care, and in the broader spectrum of things, some political issues. A Beauty Haul + A Few First Impressions

I’ve been doing a whole lot of shopping lately; and this post doesn’t even cover everything that I’ve bought in the last month or so. In fact, I went shopping again on Sunday and bought some more beauty goodies. I’ve also invited a couple of new separates and outerwear into my wardrobe too but I’ll have to leave that for another post! I know some of my readers and fellow bloggers participate in no-buy months/spending bans and whilst I don’t think I’m a self-professed shopaholic, I do haves waves of going wild and this is a perfect example of one of them. 6 Months After Using More The Ordinary Skincare

I haven’t talked about The Ordinary in a couple of months (with the exception of favourites and empties post) so I thought now would be the perfect time to update you all on my continued experience since my last post. So far, I’ve been mostly impressed and it gives me joy that word has gotten around about this amazing brand. I’m almost sure that it needs no introduction now because it’s really taken the industry by storm. ‘Work until you no longer have to introduce yourself’, they say. That sums up The Ordinary’s situation; just that it may have happened much sooner than anticipated! They have done the unthinkable. October Monthly Favourites ft. Naruko, Bare Minerals + NYX

I’ve told you time and time again that Favourites are my favourite to write (along with my Empties post) and somehow, if it were possible, this is the most exciting one I have to share with you! Perhaps it’s due to the fact that this month, it’s much more makeup-heavy than usual (I tend to be more skincare-heavy) and so I’m exploring new heights. I’ve been so excited for autumn/winter and for once in my life, I’m incredibly into makeup. I mean, I’ve been on a makeup frenzy. I’m generally quite simple with my makeup but a few Mondays ago, I just went for it. I felt like getting a whole load of nude lip colours and I’ve been exploring eyeshadow more too.
