I’ve been splitting my time living between two different places from weekdays to weekends so naturally, I have two collections of products per place as well as two different beauty routines. You can bet that collecting empties has been a little awkward and inconvenient but I’m making it work. This compilation is not even half of what I’ve accumulated so far! The plan is to ultimately write about it all before the end of the year so that I can successfully throw everything out and start 2020 on a clean slate. Empties in Ten #2

I thought I would be posting this empties instalment much sooner since my last update, but it proved to be a challenge in the end to make it to 10.* Initially I was finishing product after product but then everything else just took its time. Despite this post being put together ‘later than expected’, nothing has actually gone wrong. If anything, it just means I am being efficient with my products and to be honest, there are some days where I’m much more lower maintenance than other days so I just need to acknowledge that. Do you as a blogger (or reader) sometimes feel the need to finish up products quickly? Sometimes I do but then I always get so fascinated by how long the last remaining bits of a product can still last! I’ve recently moved onto an almost entirely new skincare routine so you’ll be seeing a lot of skincare empties in this piece. Are Empties still popular nowadays? I genuinely have no idea since I seldom watch beauty videos on YouTube anymore (I’ve moved over to the fitness corner) but what I do know is that I enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them. Reviewing 10 empties at a time isn’t exactly a new idea but I definitely felt I needed more control in this aspect as more often than not, my empties bag gets out of hand and then I end up with an even bigger challenge of compiling the post. To make things even easier, I’m going to automatically throw out any empties that are simply repeats/go-tos and leave behind those that are either new or re-visited. A special shout-out goes to Rachael from Helpless Whilst Drying since she has been conducting this style of post for quite some time and I always thought it was a brilliant idea. Don’t worry, you haven’t read the title wrong. Here is another one of my crazy-late posts that actually got the chance of passing the finishing line! I took these photos at the beginning of the year but if you have been keeping up, the start of 2019 started a bit shaky for me and quite frankly, I wasn’t in the mindset to want to fully blog leisurely. The Beauty Clean-Up #10 (empties)

The last time I did an Empties was in February but for some reason, it feels much longer than that. (I actually had a slight panic just now thinking this one was my first of the year, haha.) The weather couldn’t be any more bipolar right now. Last week was the warmest of the year, going up to about 22 degrees where I am in the UK. This week seems like such a stark contrast that it’s hard to believe it was ever sunny. In fact, tonight feels a bit more chillier than the previous few days – Spring, where art thou? Regardless of that, I still need to do a clean-out. As a result of a trip to Hong Kong, some empties were disposed of before I came back, so there will be no pictures of those items.
