How Much Does My Skincare Routine Cost?

It’s probably not the right time in the year to talk about money but everyone knows that I’m a self-proclaimer in not following trends. 😛 Besides, I am not making you buy a product; we are just having a discussion because who hasn’t thought about the accumulated cost of a particular category? I had thought about joining the gym this year but when doing the math, I didn’t think that me spending £300 a year was going to be efficiently used because I actually wouldn’t go (I don’t enjoy it enough to go). Skincare on the other hand…I wouldn’t say I would spend profusely on it but certainly there have been times where I’ve spent money on the whim without looking at descriptions or reviews of the product(s) in question. I have never calculated how much my skincare routine is worth so this could turn out to be very interesting. For those who follow me on Instagram, I already shared one of my skincare routines. That’s right, I am currently running two skincare routines so …

My Current Everyday Skincare and Favourites

Happy New Year! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! I am slowly getting back into the swing of things as far as blogging is concerned. There has been a lot that I’ve missed from writing and sharing my thoughts which I’m slowly rediscovering again and what better way to ease back into it than to show my current favourites? I thought best to split it – one makeup version which you can catch up with here and one skincare version. I hope this cover is okay? In truth, a lot of these products became empties – some of which I’ve disposed of so it wouldn’t have made sense to take a photo when products would be missing. Pack With Me | Beauty & Skincare Pt.1 What’s My Travel Skincare?

I still haven’t packed for Hong Kong yet, so the idea of me also writing a post about what I’m packing with only a few days to go is quite ambitious isn’t it? Still, I think this will be really helpful and I know that I’m getting better at this. For one, I’m not stressed about what to pack this time – I’ve already worked out in my head what makeup and skincare essentials that I’m bringing. Last time, I actually overpacked on makeup that I didn’t even end up using so I almost know that this time, I will be smarter and more productive with my choices. I will also take photos of what fashion pieces that I will be packing but chances are, I won’t have time to write about that so I’ll just have to hold onto the photos and write a follow-up another time! Let’s start shall we? Note: I have a feeling that this will be a very long post so get comfortable! Research and Analysis I typically don’t know …

Skincare I Took to Berlin

Happy Fall! I’m so happy for this new season…are you? I’ve never openly expressed this before (I don’t think) but I would say it’s my favourite season. Summer is great for its long days which makes my photography game strong; but my skin hates it! Now that it’s fall again, my skin is a lot nicer. Behaving. I’ve yet to share my experience of Berlin with you but first: skincare I took to Berlin.  You can also check out this post if you haven’t already: 5 beauty products I took to Berlin. My Current Treatments Routine

Due to the weather change, in the last month I have been more pro-active in keeping the hydration levels of my skin up. Although I have combination/oily skin, I think the same can be said for everyone else that there comes a time when our skin is more vulnerable than normal. A lot of the time (regardless of if your skin is dry/oily/sensitive), we are guilty of suffering from dehydration which causes a skin imbalance. Once that problem gets out of control, more problems seem to arise. Red alert. This is where treatments come in handy! (Ironically, it is super windy outside. Strong winds can be harsh on our skin and blow out any moisture therefore ideally, it needs to be treated.) Here are the featured items that I’m going to be talking about in this post:  Garnier Pure Active 3-in-1 Wash Scrub and Mask The Body Shop Blue Corn 3-in-1 Scrub Mask (discontinued) The Body Shop Mineral & Ginger Warming Massage Clay Mask Biore Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips My Scheming Blackhead Removal Activated Carbon …
